Operations Manager - Currently on maternity leave
Pippa has had experience working in a number of sectors including hospitality, care and administration.
In her role as a carer, Pippa worked closely with clients, helping them to maintain their independence and lead contented lives.
She loves travel, having ventured on several solo trips all over the world, and when not at Pepper's she can often be found on camping trips around the UK with her husband.
Pippa started working at Pepper's- A Safe Place in 2020. Since then she has helped the charity develop, growing our Oakham centre, opening our Melton centre and welcoming many new locals to our hubs.
Operations Manager - Covering Maternity Leave
Pips joined Pepper’s in 2025 to cover the role of Operations Manager during Pippa’s maternity leave. With a background in charity, care, hospitality, and events, she brings a compassionate, people-first approach to everything she does.
She’s trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT Tapping) and is passionate about supporting mental wellbeing through connection, kindness, and community.
Outside of work, Pips loves wild swimming, camping, and spending time with her dogs. She also has a deep love for farming life and the countryside.
Melton Centre Manager
Jenny manages the Melton Mowbray Centre.
She was previously a volunteer with Pepper’s, and very much enjoyed listening and talking to the members she met.
Before Pepper’s, Jenny worked at another local charity in a marketing, fundraising and admin role, and prior to that spent many years planning adventure holidays in the travel industry.
Her spare time is spent out and about cycling, doing yoga, cooking and continuing to enjoy exploring as much as possible!
Oakham Centre Manager
Helen manages our Oakham Centre.
She has brought a wealth of experience from various mental health roles within the NHS. This has included working in psychiatric wards and as a support worker.
