Our staff manage our centres, welcome newcomers, ensure members and volunteers are supported, take care of our admin, manage our accounts, fundraise and much more.
They work hard to support our communities mental health, ensuring our centres remain safe spaces for all.
Read more about our staff below or meet them at our next drop-in sessions.
Development Manager
Pippa has had experience working in a number of sectors including hospitality, care and administration.
In her role as a carer, Pippa worked closely with clients, helping them to maintain their independance and lead contented lives.
She loves travel, having ventured on several solo trips all over the world, and when not at Pepper's she can often be found on camping trips around the UK with her husband.
Pippa started working at Pepper's- A Safe Place in 2020. Since then she has helped the charity develop, growing our Oakham centre, opening our Melton centre and welcoming many new locals to our hubs.
Melton Centre Manager
Jenny is the newest member of the Pepper’s team and manages the Melton Mowbray Centre.
She was previously a volunteer with Pepper’s, and very much enjoyed listening and talking to the members she met.
Before Pepper’s, Jenny worked at another local charity in a marketing, fundraising and admin role, and prior to that spent many years planning adventure holidays in the travel industry.
Her spare time is spent out and about cycling, doing yoga, cooking and continuing to enjoy exploring as much as possible!
