We've had an incredible week, meeting many locals, spreading awareness for mental health and the work we do at Pepper's and raising funds.
On Wednesday we were at Oakham Market Place with some delicious homemade cakes and bakes, these were not surprisingly a huge hit with you all, we followed this with a plant sale on Saturday. Despite the threatening rain showers we were overwhlemed with generosity from Rutlanders and it was lovely chatting to many of you about the services we can offer at Pepper's. (Huge thank you to the Rutland Marquee Company for keeping us warm and dry by lending us their gazebos.)
We drew our raffle on Saturday afternoon and had some very happy winners. The prizes included donations from Little Print Gifts, Paper and Peach, Adam Croft, Hambleton Bakery, Rutland Wax Melts, Multum Gin Parvo, the Rutland Photographer, Orbis and Rutland Cakeaway. We couldnt be more gratefull for the support these businesses gave us.
With the theme of nature and the environment we wanted to encourage everyone to get outside and be active. Our Miles for Mental Health saw many of you getting out and about with your friends and family, as well as raising some fantastic funds to keep Pepper's going.
And of course, our photography competition. Wow! We had so many amazing entries, the judges had a tough time deciding on the winners. Check out the winning photos here.
Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, raised awareness, visited our stall, entered our competition and completed their miles!
