Our Melton centre is moving!

We’re delighted to announce that our Melton centre is moving to a new safe space on Monday, June 30! Pepper’s wellbeing hub will relocate to a new property in the heart of the town.

Our new centre, at 43 Nottingham Street (previously Melton Toys, near to Poundland) provides more than double our current space, accessible facilities and increased visibility for those in the local community who’d like to use our services.

Since we opened on King Street in January 2022, Pepper’s has gone from strength to strength – helping more and more people with our social drop-ins and range of activities.

Our current centre has been a lovely, safe space for three years.

But now we need a new home that can accommodate increased numbers as we seek to help Melton residents who are struggling with their mental health, want to take a little time out for their wellbeing or are feeling lonely or isolated.

Our new Nottingham Street base will allow us to do just that! We can fit more tables in for people to sit around and chat over a cuppa and a biscuit, advertise our accessible exercise programme more widely and offer new activities to appeal to a wider audience within the local community.

It will also allow us to offer more quiet and private space.

All in all, this means we are ready to welcome more people within our local Melton communities to Pepper’s – A Safe Place.

We are very excited for the next stage of our journey, and can't wait to welcome you to our new home! Our full address will be: 43 Nottingham Street, Melton Mowbray, LE13 1NN and all our sessions will stay the same (and in the meantime, our services will continue at our King Street centre).
