Hegarty announces charity partnership with Pepper’s A Safe Place as it celebrates 50 years of business

Local solicitor firm, Hegarty (www.hegarty.co.uk), is celebrating five decades of being a trusted legal companion to people across Rutland, Lincolnshire and Peterborough.

As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations Hegarty is increasing its usual single annual charity partner from one to four this year, and we are delighted to announce that Pepper’s A Safe Place is one of the chosen four local beneficiary charities.

As well as us in Oakham, other chosen charities are MindSpace in Stamford, Sports Connections Foundation in Peterborough, and Dementia Support in Market Deeping, representing a charity in each location where the firm has a legal office.

What’s more, as well as a fresh re-brand to celebrate its 50th year, Hegarty is embarking on an inspiring journey of community kindness with 50 initiatives planned over the next 12 months. The range of activities, from tree planting to bake sales, and even a slightly more strenuous 3 Peaks Challenge adventure, aims to help local residents, causes, communities and charities in a variety of ways.

Kally Singh, senior partner at the firm, said, "This is a momentous occasion for Hegarty, but as we celebrate, we are mindful of the trust our community has placed in us over the past five decades. We’re delighted to be supporting Pepper’s A Safe Place this year and can’t wait to get started.”

“We’re ready to take on the next 50 years and continue to be a trusted legal partner for the people of Rutland, Lincolnshire and Peterborough and surrounding communities.”

As a charity dedicated to helping local people, partnering with a local firm like Hegarty’s is a fantastic opportunity to increase our profile within the local area, and raise some ever-useful funds to continue to support our members and community.

Thank you, Hegarty!
